About Us

Colchester First Aid was established in 2014 and each year since we’ve trained hundreds of workplace and childcare setting employees in first aid. Our courses are welcoming and the material is delivered in an engaging way to ensure you or your team absorbs and retains the material to the highest possible standard.

Instructors

Our courses are taught by fully qualified and insured first aid instructors who have decades of professional front-line experience in the blue light emergency services (and/or military and/or health/care/childcare settings) of providing first aid in real emergency situations, so you can be assured that you are getting the best possible training. 

Equipment

We use the very highest quality training equipment, including our state of the art CPR manikins with audio and visual feedback functions so that you can see for yourself that your chest compressions are the right position, rate and depth. All of our equipment is kept scrupulously clean and thoroughly sanitised before/after each use.

Certification

We offer a variety of types of certification including VTQ (Vocational and Technical Qualifications) courses certified by ProTrainings, which are CPD recognised. We can also offer RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework) certification for regulated courses through Training Qualifications UK (TQUK) on request.  As standard you will receive a Colchester First Aid certificate in your chosen subject, which meets the Health and Safety Executive requirements for workplace first aid training (EFAW/FAW), and Ofsted requirements for Paediatric First Aid. The type of certificate has no impact on the training itself, which will be the same regardless of the style of certificate.
